Over time typical wear from collet actuation can occur on the spindle shaft surface.  As an alternative to full spindle replacement, Dunham has designed the MA576 insert.  When used, wear will typically occur on the inside of the insert as opposed to the high dollar shaft surface, resulting in a much more economical replacement method for high wear applications.  Insert is heat treated to the same standards as the Dunham Spindle Shaft.
